Central Vietnam offers a variety of natural & cultural highlights, including historical sites like imperial city Hue, ancient town Hoi An, the world’s largest cave Son Doong, lots of outstanding national parks and many many sandy beaches on the coastline. With the international airport in Da Nang and variable transportation options, it’s easier than ever to explore and celebrate your love in this beautiful part of the country.

There are 2 main geographic regions in the central: central coasts & central highlands. I will go with the order from the coasts to the highlands, the south to the north.
CENTRAL COASTS OF VIETNAM
1. PHAN THIET
Phan Thiet is an ideal place for beach weddings, vow renewals. And Mui Ne is a coastal resort town in Phan Thiet and has hundreds of big and small resorts. Pleasant atmosphere + strong sea waves, it’s such a nice choice for your special day experience: kite & wind-surfing. Phan Thiet is just more than 3-hour-drive from Ho Chi Minh City.
2. NINH THUAN
Similar geography to Mui Ne, located on central coastal area but Ninh Thuan is quite underrated. There are not many couples come here for wedding but honestly, this province has fantastic and wild scenery that you can’t find anywhere else in Vietnam. Temperature is slighter hotter than other areas but you can fill up your special day with many activities: wind-surfing, sand-surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, trekking through national parks or just chilling by the beaches.
With its insanely wonderful landscape, there is one of the most luxury resorts of Vietnam located in Ninh Thuan. They wisely choose this location to provide their guests with the best view & experience.
NUI CHUA NATIONAL PARK: Nui Chua National Park, Ninh Thuan is a great location for an adventure elopement. You can trek through high mountains, streams, giant rocks, mountain cliffs and dense jungles. Rock Park is an excellent spot for a sunrise ceremony.
HANG RAI (Rai Cave / Cave of Otters) is also perfect for a sunrise elopement ceremony and epic couple portrait. It’s a large and flat limestone surface by the coast. It’s actually an ancient coral reefs that were created by geological tectonics millions of years ago.
AMANOI RESORT is an excellent choice for you to have a one-of-a-kind stay and luxury wedding experience.

3. NHA TRANG
Nha Trang city is a top beach destination with warm weather and 6 km of sandy beaches. It has many islands with beautiful scenery above and below the water, making it perfect for water sports such as water skiing, scuba diving and sea walking. The city is also famous for its rich source of fresh seafood.
It has provided some beautiful wedding venues and become one of top destinations for wedding in Vietnam.
4. PHU YEN
Phu Yen has a 189 km coastline with diverse natural scenery like lagoons, rocky beaches, beautiful corals and islets. It also has rivers, mountains, lakes, hot springs, and cultural heritage sites.
Along with other famous basalt columns in the world which created due to volcanic activity, Phu Yen is renowned for Da Dia reef, which features basalt rock columns formed 200 million years ago.
You can also find a luxury wedding venue at Zanniers Hotel Bai San Ho
5. QUY NHON
Quy Nhon coastal city is one of top 50 city beaches in the world. Sharing the same coastline with Phu Yen, this city has offered even more diverse scenery such as mountains, forests, hills, fields, salt marshes, plains, lagoons, lakes, rivers & islets.
One of the best wedding venues for an intimate wedding you can find in Vietnam is Anantara Quy Nhon.
6. DA NANG
Da Nang is a thriving city in Vietnam, known for its modern attractions such as theme parks and many 5 stars resorts while still retaining its traditional charm. It gradually becomes the first choice for destination weddings for both Vietnamese couples & foreign couples.
For your experience, nothing beats a misty morning on the Golden Bridge in Ba Na Hills for an elopement ceremony. One-of-a-kind experience you can have for your destination wedding. A deer-shaped Banyan Tree and a nearly 1000 year-old Banyan Tree in Son Tra Peninsula are also a unique place to hold your ceremony.

7. HOI AN
Hoi An is a must-see place to visit when traveling to Vietnam but also considered the best place to get married. Wedding venues are widely chosen from beach-front resorts to enchanting riverside villas, from a micro wedding to a big wedding. Getting married in Da Nang or Hoi An, you will easily find great, experienced wedding vendors in the area. For your experience, try cooking class, order a tailored traditional Ao Dai, ride a basket boat in Hoi An or sight-see the ancient town both at day-time and night-time. It’s an absolutely gorgeous town.

CENTRAL HIGHLANDS OF VIETNAM
8. LAM DONG
Located in the central highland region of Vietnam, Lam Dong temperature is comfortable all year, with cloudy landscape, many pine forests and waterfalls. Da Lat city is a lovely spot for a romantic micro wedding in the woods. Adding a bit of adrenaline for your wedding experience such as white water crafting, canyoning, zip lining, explore one of these waterfalls: Dalanta, Dambri, Pongour.

9. K50 WATERFALL
My wish-list destination in Vietnam for adventure elopement is K50 Waterfall (50-meter-high waterfall). It’s a 17km trek in the forest. This breathtaking waterfall is located in Kon Chu Rang Nature Reserve, Gia Lai.

The following location is none of those regions above, it’s located at the north of the central Vietnam
10. QUANG BINH
Quang Binh is the kingdom of the caves. One of them is Son Doong – the largest cave in the world. It’s marvelous! Quang Binh offers a chance to discover unspoiled nature, limestone mountains, exotic caves, pristine beaches. This area is a must-chosen destination if you are thriving for the most extreme adventure in Vietnam. Getting eloped here will be an once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Look up these locations for your consideration:
Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park
Son Doong Cave (a 360 view from National Geographic)
