Eloping in A Romantic Rainy Forest in Vietnam
T & P’s Magical Day
Thinking of an adventurous elopement in Vietnam? Let this romantic story of T & P inspire you – a couple who embraced the rain, the forest, and each other on an unforgettable day by Tuyen Lam Lake in Lam Dong province.

In September 2023, T & P chose a secluded forest near Tuyen Lam Lake, just outside Da Lat, for their intimate elopement ceremony. No bouquet, no flower arch, just surrounded by towering trees and soft mist, this quiet spot reflected their love for nature and the tropical highland weather.

Rainy First Look Among the Trees
Not long after the first look began, the autumn rain gently rolled in. But T&P were prepared, with umbrellas in hand and hearts wide open.
Despite the weather, or perhaps because of it, I witnessed one of the most intimate and emotional first looks I’ve ever captured. The rain only made it more cinematic, like something straight out of a love story.
Vows Under a Rain-Soaked Tree Canopy
The rain didn’t stop – and neither did they. T & P exchanged their vows under rain-soaked trees, sheltering in their natural canopy. With raindrops mixing with joyful tears, it was hard to tell where one ended and the other began.
It was a quiet, sacred moment. Pure magic.
Forest First Dance
After their vow exchange, T & P shared their first dance right by the lake. Laughter echoed between the trees, and their joy was contagious.
Fairytale Vibes & Wandering Through a Rain-Washed Forest
This elopement spot wasn’t chosen by chance because T, the bride, has always loved fairytale stories and the forest’s dreamlike atmosphere. As the owner of Brownie, a charming handmade gift and home decor shop in Da Lat, her personality shines through in every detail.
T & P spent the rest of their elopement day exploring the peaceful trails of the forest, breathing in the fresh air after the rain. No timelines. No pressure. Just presence, love, and nature.
Thank you Anda for understanding my thoughts and wishes so well. This sky, this space, these clouds and smoke floating around, and the cold winds mixed with the rain that interrupted some shots are the most wonderful scene that I have always wanted.
